It is with great pleasure that we introduce Journey Man Blues Guitarist Mark "West Coast" Comerford to the band! Mark comes with a rich Blues history as one of the founding members of "Uncle Wiggly's Hot Shoes Blues Band" and "The West Coast Blues Doctors". We are right stoked to have Mark join the "Rockin' Recliners" and look forward to Shakin' what yer Mama gave ya!
"Lazy Mike and the Rockin' Recliners" are one of the hardest workin' Blues Bands on Vancouver Island. These guys always bring their "A" game to the shows they play and have had the crowds jumpin' every time that I have had the pleasure of seeing one of their shows. Good solid musicians who know how to entertain an audience with high energy, enthusiasm, and an honest passion for the music they play. One of the hightlights of the "2012 Powell River Blues Festival!" http://powellriverblues2012.com Aug 2012
Harp Driven Rockin' Blues
Lazy Mike and the Rockin' Recliners have been ROCKIN' the Island since 2007 with appearances at many Blues Festivals such as the "Vancouver Island Blues Bash", in Victoria, "SkyHigh Blues" in Rock Creek BC, and the Powell River Blues Festival, in Powell River, plus many other Fairs, Pubs, and Clubs all over the Island and the BC Interior. This year of 2013, the band has had the wonderful opportunity to be invited back again to play at the "Summer Street Dance" in Hedley BC, and the "Summertime Blues" in Nanaimo and to have the Port Alberni Annual Toy Run added to their accomplishments.
With the release of their CD "Life's Been Pretty Good" to enthusiastic fans everywhere, the band is excited to have had the opportunity to share the stage and billing with such fine talents. The band is currently working hard at publishing and completion of their next CD of original Rockin' Blues "Rollin' Through this World...."
